i was browsing through the mini-news feed on facebook and noticed a group that had a link to here:

highlight of my day:  receiving my own set of keys.

so as a volunteer, i couldn't really do much except observe or photo copy papers. the copy machine will be your best friend, i can vouch for that. i'd have to borrow room keys from the therapists to collect equipments for them. but now, as a rehab aide, i have a little bit more freedom as to what i can do. i still run around and collect equipments, which means that i still need to ask for the keys. i feel like i'm being a hassle because keys are usually attached to the therapists name badge that are attached to those clips that hang onto their shirts. when i ask them for their keys, they graciously hand them over (since i'm helping them fetch items), but i feel like i'm regressing back to my volunteer position.

i asked my supervisor if he had anymore keys today. he dug into his desk drawer and found a key that had lesser importance than this second key that i'm hoping he had. "you are so lucky." he looked up and handed me the second precious key, the key that opens all doors. the key that i no longer have to ask others for because i'm no longer a volunteer with only photo copying powers.

this may be insignificant, but i'm one happy camper today. oh yes, one happy camper with keys.

i'm getting that jittery feeling! first day here i come!

2. picnic day! (it's kind of funny how i never made any plans on going to picnic day when i was in davis. but it's different this year. chemistry magic show! fried twinkie! weiner dog race!)

3. easter! (resurrection sunday. yayuh.)

4. 75% chance of getting a job with cpmc! (oh how i'll need this to make up for my grades when i apply to OT schools...)

5. europe....(25% chance of going if cpmc doesn't hire me...HIRE ME CPMC)

6. lacy oatmeal cookies! (finally bought some buttttter)

7. jinsung's wedding! (driving down to LA family van style. holler.)

8. korean food! (soondooboo...mmmm)

9. GRE....(one month left.)

10. my birthday! (i know, i know, it's 2 months away, but i was thinking about how i wanted to celebrate. giants game? chinese dinner banquet style? go karting? watching korean drama at my house? musical?)
